Tribute & Aftermath · Memorial Art Exhibit

Paintings born from real letters. Healing that walks in the door with them.

Tribute & Aftermath is a traveling memorial art exhibit honoring unborn lives lost through abortion. Each original painting was created in response to a parent’s handwritten letter to their child in heaven — and each one is displayed alongside that letter, anonymously. Together, art and words give voice to what has been carried in silence, and open a path toward hope for everyone who stands in front of them.

What It Is

More than an exhibit. A ministry to those hurt by abortion.

Every piece in Tribute & Aftermath began as a parent’s letter — words a mother or father had held inside for years, sometimes decades. Polly paints in response to those words, and the original artwork joins the exhibit together with the handwritten letter that inspired it. No names are ever shown.

The exhibit gives voice to personal experiences through art and written words, and it invites viewers into their own stories — encouraging them to emerge from the shadows of secrecy and find healing through compassion, understanding, and connection. Some visitors come to remember. Some come to understand. And some walk in carrying a loss no one knows about, and walk out knowing they are not alone.

Why Host

Someone in your congregation is grieving in silence.

Statistically and pastorally, you already know it: there are women and men in your pews who carry a past abortion and have never spoken of it — not to a pastor, not to a spouse, sometimes not even to themselves. They have listened for years for a signal that it is safe to bring this grief into the light.

Hosting Tribute & Aftermath is that signal. Without a sermon, without singling anyone out, the exhibit says to every person who walks past it: your loss is real, your child mattered, and healing is possible here. Acknowledging loss. Restoring hope. Advocating for life.

What Hosting Looks Like

Simple for you. Meaningful for them.

Where it fits
The exhibit travels to conferences, church services, fundraisers, and community events. It adapts to sanctuaries, lobbies, fellowship halls, and event spaces alike.

When
Our calendar is open and we are accepting reservations for the 2026 season. Dates are confirmed on a first-conversation basis, so earlier inquiries have more flexibility.

What it costs
There is no cost to host. The exhibit exists to reach the people in your community who need it, and giving is always invited but never required.

How it starts
Send a hosting request with your organization, location, and the event you have in mind. We will be in touch personally to explore next steps — dates, space, and how to prepare your team to care well for the conversations the exhibit tends to open.
